Something inspirational:
"Life flies by, and it's easy to get lost in the blur. In adolescence, it's 'How do I fit in?' In your 20s, it's 'What do I want to do?' In your 30s, 'Is this what I'm meant to do?' I think the trick is living the questions. Not worrying so much about what's ahead, but rather sitting in the grey area - being OK with where you are."
CHRIS PINE
Another example of how The CP Diary keeps its readers focused and stable. It helps people spread their wings after being in the dark for so long.
As I remember, this site actually found me, I'm so glad it did.
I am too!! Thanks Tim. Chris Pine's quote, reminds me that life is orderly, and just being 'OK' with where you are has to be okay.
If at any point we're not okay with where we are, however we get to that place, it is up to us to change it. The problem for many (a human trait) is we're racked with guilt (ours and other people's guilt) and through guilt we continue to blame.
I believe Chris Pine's quote can change that, but it is important to change our thinking and perceptions.
Chris Pine's quote is so true. We spend too much time looking ahead, we forgot about the now.
Our awareness should be centred on the 'here and now' rather than worrying about the future, or thinking about the past.
If we spend our time worrying about what might be in the future, or wonder about what might have been in our past, we will certainly ignore what is happening in the 'here and now.'
Thank you. Yes, I think the biggest problem is fundamentally not being able to move on from, or dealing with issues in our past.
When and if we are able to do that, we can quite happily live 'presently' and living presently can always help us prepare for the future.
It's usually the past that stops us in our tracks and keeps us stuck.
