  1. How boring would life be if we didn't have variety...the quote is a good one.

We have many sweet days and others that aren't so good. But even on the not so good days, it's not so bad, but that's just my humble opinion!

    1. Thanks Maria. You're absolutely right about the variety, although when we're going through tough times, I'm not sure how welcome we find the variety!

Without the variety, including the bad days, those are the days we learn from. If everything went swimmingly, we'd learn nothing about life.

It would be nice to have a balance, but sometimes the bad outweigh the good.

  2. Pretty much true considering some of the "chocolates" I've gotten in my lifetime!

It would have been great to choose at least a few of them but in the end you get what is given to you. It just means that I have to accept what happens in my life but it certainly doesn't mean that I have to like it!

    1. Too true Randy, we don't have to like it. I think you're right though, we're given what we're given.

Our life is mapped out for us in certain respects, although there are times I believe when we do get to choose.

  3. Of course now chocolates come with a little guide so you know exactly what you're going to get, but I still like this quote.

In some respects life is a bit of a lottery, but that doesn't matter to me; it's what we do with the hand we're dealt that matters in my humble opinion!
