  1. Honesty isn't something I've had a lot of experience with. I usually had people telling me their version of the truth, which was the total opposite of what the truth was, but I was a child, so I didn't stop to question it.

I wasn't allowed to live my own truth. Now that I am living my truth, my whole world is opening up to me and I want to enjoy it.

    1. Thanks Randy. Yes, I get that. Living with honesty means that life changes you, your attitude changes and because you're following the universal rules, the universe will also open up.

When things get easier, you can't imagine life any other way. The only difficulty is that when you live your truth and others aren't living theirs, it makes for difficult relationships.

First we must be honest, then we will have choices. Without honesty in place, you will have little in the way of choices.

  2. Honesty is a key virtue in human relationships and should be taught from an early age.

Like Randy, this wasn't instilled in me as a child, because my parenting was somewhat 'hands off' to say the least. I was constantly getting into trouble at home and at school and learned that I could lie to get myself out of trouble. But it usually caught up with me in the end.

As an adult I have learned the value of being honest and try to live by this. It is important as honesty brings about morality, a positive mindset and peace, not only for ourselves, but with each other.

    1. Thanks. Yes, the world needs more honesty right now. It needs honesty, based on 'universal truths' not how we see the world or how we want our lives to be.

Honesty, as this quote implies will always have a ripple effect and does. 'It is truth telling, truth speaking, truth living, and truth loving' - without it we will continue to face many hardships moving forward.

We're not learning our lessons and need to if our lives are to work out positively.
