    1. Thank you. I've heard it said that when couples are together they want to stay together, when they are married they have no choice but to stay together.

      Unfortunately, today there is too much pressure on couples to conform, by their families, by society, even more so when children come along. There seems to be less pressure when couples aren't married. With less pressure they're happier and therefore less likely to separate.
