Why this Quote Resonates with Me and The CP Diary
This quote feels very much at the heart of what my writing and The CP Diary is about. For me, the diary has always been a space to reflect, to understand, and to make sense of a difficult life. It is through those reflections that I have found the courage to move forward.
Starting over doesn’t mean forgetting what’s come before; it means placing it, and giving ourselves permission to grow. Each new beginning brings its own kind of freedom – a chance to see things with new eyes and to write the next part of our story with more understanding, empathy, and compassion for ourselves, particularly with the things we know we couldn't change.
Through writing this is what I have chosen to do, because I need to heal.
