I agree and not only that, but how many of us choose not to understand ourselves and each other? That is the real ignorance.

I believe we struggle with who we are and therefore we choose not to understand. We come to believe it's easier that way.
It's hard for me to rationalize man's inhumanity to man, as we virtually unravel because of it. Hopefully we can defeat our ignorance before we scorch this world to the bone.
Thanks Tim, I would like to think it could happen like that, that we could defeat our ignorance, but I'm not sure how realistic that is. I think we'd need to go back to a more simplistic way of life for that to happen, taking things like religion and culture out of the equation, because our lives are centred around those.
I believe there isn't enough empathy, compassion, tolerance and patience between people, or in the world. These are the things that can and will turn our intent around, for us to lead more spiritual lives in harmony with the Universe and each other.
