Thanks Tim. I love that you were a deep thinker from an early age. It's how you put your world in order.
Thinking gives us time to equate, to box and to see the world in the way it presents, not the way others want us to see the world.
Religion doesn't have to be bad, it's another belief system, but religion can interfere with our sensibilities, when we fail to think about its rituals and that can be dangerous. it is important to think.

I agree with this quote. Spirituality is not a single path or belief system, but it is about tolerance, compassion, understanding, respect for others.

Thank you. Yes, spirituality absolutely is.
Respectfully, it is about time society stops using spirituality to champion religion, because they couldn't be further apart.
I have never met anyone who is religious and who shows signs of compassion, understanding and who respects. In fact, I see the total opposite.
Unless you believe what they believe, they tend to have less tolerance and compassion, not more.
At the age of ten perhaps, I knew the difference between spirituality and religion.
I knew then that religion was a long dark con game, played by people void of spirituality.
Religion can be very dangerous business, my way of dealing with it is to think.
