Something inspirational:
"We need to change the culture of this topic and make it okay to speak about mental health and suicide."
TARAJI P. HENSON
Henson’s quote reminds us that we need to talk, listen, and act. If you’ve been touched by suicide, you’ll know how isolating and lonely the experience can be. Disability mirrors the same patterns. Being aware isn’t enough if we don’t show up for each other. We need to support people who continue to struggle with the loss of someone close to suicide, mental health, disabilities, anything that makes them feel different or unseen.
Healing takes time, patience, and understanding – especially when it comes to mental health. The world is already divided enough. Covid, politics, and constant conflict have pushed us further apart. What we need now is empathy in action – checking in, speaking up, standing beside each other, and choosing compassion over judgement. Real change starts when we stop just hearing and start caring.
