I still continue to look for ways to improve my health, whilst I continue to look for ways not to get ill. I can’t afford to deal with illness. Unfortunately, I’ve not been feeling well since I came back from St Andrews. It takes me a while to recover from the journey, so I’m trying something else that may help.

I’ve known about Aloe for a while now, but I've never tried it, primarily because I’m prone to side effects. It's great for IBS, digestive problems and reflux. I've had to reduce the amount I take of course, but having had Aloe over the last couple of days now, I have noticed a difference and I have to say I’m beginning to feel better and that’s positive for me.

  1. It's really good that you have something to try and help with your health and that it is helping too.

I think with our health problems, it is important never to give up and to always keep looking for other avenues to explore.

  2. It's great that your trying Aloe Vera. I can remember when aloe first came to be known as something for health.

My grandmother kept a bottle of it in her kitchen and took some every morning. I haven't taken it internally but I have used it for many years for things like burns, sunburns and skin irritation.

I have two of the very large plants in my home so I get it fresh. I hope it works well for you.

    1. Thanks Lisa. It's working so far. I feel much better. I can at least breath normally without having the heavy feeling you often get with reflux or digestion problems!

As you've said Aloe Vera is also good and can be applied topically on things like sunburn.

  3. I've known that it was good for sunburns and the like, but never really thought how it would work on the inside! I'm not really sure how that would be made up to be able to ingest it, but I'm sure I could figure it out.

I'm usually game for trying out new things to help me to feel better. Thanks for the suggestion!

    1. You're welcome! Yes I'm sure you would figure it out Randy.

I'm pleased you're happy to try out new things to help you feel better. I tend to go with the same philosophy. There's no real point in struggling when we don't have to.
