  1. Well this is certainly an eye opener. Been battling myself with life in general and tend to dwell too much over the past 4 yrs.

I've said it before; a person can handle so much rejection with society, so I've been sitting idle afraid to give it a go again, just to find the same result; Rejection.

    1. Thanks Bonnie. Always look at the bigger picture. None of this is about you Bonnie, although society would like us to think it is. It's time to stand and be counted. That is what I chose to do.

You have a place waiting for you. There is someone out there who sees past this rhetoric. I believe it. Don't be disheartened. It will happen. And when one door closes another one opens. But you have to make it so.

  2. Unbeknownst to me, my rejections were a blessing in disguise, as if it were somehow planned that way.

Since then, I never let the fly on my nose be more alive than me.

Thank you for your response Bonnie, everything will work out for you, surely.

    1. Thanks Tim. I believe they do and will. It only ever takes one person to make it so.

I also believe in the universe and know that things work out the way they're supposed to. I think if more of us believed and sought refuge in the universe, rather than in ourselves, we'd be more grounded, humbled and would begin to put others first.

Sadly, we're too wrapped up in how society sees people and what's considered, normal to think about other people and give those people a chance.

Bonnie, keep going you're as good as the next person. Don't give up on your dream.

  3. I can understand folks, sometimes when they can't seem to get it in gear. Either they do it 100% or don't bother.

Slow and steady wins the race in running a marathon. How about running or speed walking? You can still get there if you have the persistence and guts to try.

  4. Thanks Maria. Yes you're absolutely right, both persistence and guts are needed.

Persistence to follow through so you don't give up and guts to believe in yourself enough to know that you can do what you put your mind to do.

I have seen those who talk about their intentions and then fail to follow anything through; citing excuse after excuse, after excuse. Too close to home.

When we use an excuse we're not only communicating with ourselves, but with the universe and that's where 'the story sadly ends.'

I believe we all have something to offer, but the belief has to come from us and for us to decide that we need to and can change and I agree with you that 'slow and steady does win the race in a marathon.' You're right.
