Something inspirational:

“Nothing living should ever be treated with contempt. Whatever it is that lives, a man, a tree, or a bird, should be touched gently, because the time is short. Civilization is another word for respect for life...”

  1. This is a great quote. We shouldn't need to be reminded that we must respect everything on this planet, understanding our place and working with one another not against each other.

This has never been more true than it is now with the terrible invasion of Ukraine, and our increasingly harmful impact on the planet.

    1. Thanks. You're right and we should all be doing more. If the pandemic is showing us one thing, it is that we need to be more selfless and supportive.

We get one crack at the life thing. We need to do more.

    1. Thanks Tim. Yes, 'it should be screamed from the rooftops and implemented by all of us.'

If the pandemic has taught us one thing, it's that tomorrow isn't guaranteed and that respect for life is necessary, 'so that we may all have a life.'

Because of lifting restrictions in the UK I am four-walled and have been for 3 months. I like many thousands of disabled, high risk and vulnerable people have literally had their liberty snatched from under their feet.

Where is the respect for us, don't our lives matter? Politicians need to go back to basics here, as do we all. It's costing people their mental health.
