Something inspirational:

“You can be rich in spirit, kindness, love and all those things that you can't put a dollar sign on.”

DOLLY PARTON

Yesterday, I wrote about something that had been said to me that was playing on my mind: “Since when was doing the right thing the wrong thing?”

About kindness, consideration, helping one another and remembering to think about the person on the other side of our decisions.

Today, Dolly Parton’s words feel especially poignant.

I think she captures, far more simply, what I was trying to say.

That being rich in spirit, kindness and love has nothing to do with what we have, but everything to do with what we give to one another.

Because doing the right thing isn't really about what it costs us. It costs nothing to be kind. It costs nothing to think about others, to help others. It's about what we give to one another.

As I wrote yesterday's, consideration costs very little.

Today, Dolly's words are a lovely reminder that in life, the things that cost the least are actually worth the most.

You will be missed Dolly RIP.
