I have documented the fact that I published my first Book Cerebral Palsy: A Story ‘Finding the Calm After the Storm’ in January 2020, the day the UK heard about Covid-19 and two months before the UK went into lockdown. I remember the date vividly, because it was a day before my birthday, the 24th March.

Official Book Publishing Date

On the 16th September 2022, my second book, ‘Spirituality, Healing and Me’ is officially being published, again in the thick of the pandemic. Being an independent author, publishing in the pandemic has made it incredibly difficult to make headway, so I rely on people’s kindness and good will.

With the world open again and the mask and social distancing restrictions lifted, in the UK and dealing with a disability, I am forced back into my home. What is helping me mentally function, is my writing, as I continue to get my thoughts out there.

‘Spirituality, Healing and Me’ can:

  • Enhance positive emotions and promote personal healing
  • Can change the way you think about and perceive your life
  • It can also improve emotional balance and wellness
  • Accept changing circumstances
  • Boost confidence and self-esteem
  • Stay self-aware, grounded and patient
  • Change the way you perceive and think about your life

My 'universal writing'

My writing is ‘universal’ which means everything I write about, relates to, and affects each of us.

With 2 days to publication day, having written this book, ‘Spirituality, Healing and Me’ does what it says in and on the book covers. My Book brings clarity and helps us focus, and bring mental clarity and 'clearing every day fog' particularly from living through the pandemic.

  1. Yes, your writing is universal and should help everyone, as it has done for me. I'm planning on buying a few copies for myself and my daughter.

People seem to be losing their minds right now, up to and including the people closest to me, over the whole COVID-19 situation, so hopefully your book may help them also.

As you know, for me living this way was the norm, growing up with a hypochondriac mother who was always worried about getting sick.

Things may have to change once again, but I'm in a place now where living alone wouldn't be so bad. Only time will tell.

    1. Thanks in advance on buying the book. That means a lot to me. Yes, 'universal books' that have never been written in this way before.

Having written it, I know what's gone into it and I know how it can help a lot of people. You can tell a lot from what is written. Whichever way we express it, it's important to express it well.
