Being beautiful isn’t just about a beautiful face, or a beautiful body, or what’s in the eyes of the beholder. Beauty is etched on your soul, and reveals itself in your actions towards others.

Below are some ways you can work on being beautiful from the inside out:

  • Be grateful for what you have rather than what you'd like to have;
  • Learn to accept what you have and your life in its entirety;
  • Keep your thoughts grounded;
  • Accept your lessons, they are there to help you grow;
  • Find time to sit and concentrate on yourself so that you can regroup your thoughts;
  • Learn to see the good in everyone;
  • Practice compassion, empathy, tolerance and patience;
  • Learn to meditate;
  • Don't judge, pass an opinion, or be critical of others just because you’re hurting;
  • Learn to accept your flaws.

Stop being angry, bitter or malicious towards someone else. Being beautiful inside and out and being happy with yourself, will help you to focus on others more positively.

The saying: 'do unto others as you would have them do unto you.' - the Mosaic law, in other words, meaning whatever is hurtful to you, do not inflict on someone else.

  1. The one thing I have noticed is that people can be beautiful but have very ugly souls. It isn't something that I often share with people but I can read people and tell what they're really like without them ever saying a word.

    There are monsters out there in the world, which are usually hiding behind the most beautiful faces. I was forced to deal with a lot of them as a child.

    It would be great if people were better at being decent human beings, but as long as they are more concerned about outer beauty they won't worry as much as being better people like they should be...

    1. Thanks Randy. Yes, the pandemic seems to have brought the worst out in people. I have heard so many people say it

      Your last sentence is spot on. As long as they are more concerned about outer beauty, they won't worry as much as being better people like they should be... afraid to say you're absolutely right.

      I am four-walled because I am high risk and cannot get back into my life, because masks are not being worn. In the pandemic, it's us thinking about other people's needs.

      I have never lived my life without thinking about or putting others first. Being beautiful on the inside and out is the way to go. It will be the survival of our world. We need more of that please.
