Based on universal principles, being able to work through my disability for the first time in a self-contained place in Cerebral Palsy: A Story ‘Finding the Calm After the Storm’ has changed me because I now understand the disability, I didn't know I had. The spiritual and healing process should become part of any healing process.
Cerebral Palsy: 'A Story' helps you change the way you think
Writing Cerebral Palsy: A Story 'Finding the Calm After the Storm' and 'Spirituality, Healing and Me' has changed the way I think about my life. They are books that can change a life for anyone who chooses to read them. I wrote them, I know how they can help, I know how they can bring understanding.
Spirituality, Healing and Me
My follow-on book, Spirituality, Healing and Me, is my spiritual and healing journey, also based on the universal principles that govern our thinking and behaviour. When you bring understanding into your situation, you change the way you deal with that situation, therefore you change the way you deal with your life.
My Books bring understanding
My books have brought understanding into my life where there was confusion, bewilderment and disappointment and that has changed the way I think and feel about what happened to me. For us to heal we need to concentrate on dealing with our experiences from our past. My books allows us to do that.

Standing back helps us to reassess and bring understanding into a situation and that's sometimes all it needs for us to change our behaviour.
I think if more of us did this, our world would look and feel different and we would be at peace and more calm. Without changing behaviour I don't foresee that happening.
Thanks. Yes, given what we're seeing through Covid-19 and the decisions that are being made, it would be wise for politicians to delve into 'changing their behaviour.'
I'm with you on that and agree. It has taken me just under the 2-year mark to feel comfortable going out in Covid-19; living with a disability.
Changing behaviour is needed in the world, now more than ever, if lives are going to change for the better.
