The person I am today,
Wasn't here by chance or luck,

The person they are seeing today,
Should have been long gone,

But I made a choice,
To stay on,

Silent battles were fought,
Tears were shed,
I have suffered, loved, lost and cried myself to the person I am today,
But I did it,

Dear me,
Thank you for staying on,
Even when it seemed impossible,
When everything seemed hopeless,
I am glad you pulled through,

I did it,
It really is beautiful like they said,
I won't let you down anymore,
I am going to stay strong,
For you.
