Sadly, with arthritis the pain and inflammation never go away, unless we do something about it. Topically there are things we can do to help.
There are lots of natural home remedies that help with pain and inflammation. They are what our grandparents will have used and can be the most comforting.
My suggestions are as follows:
For remedies to work successfully, it’s important for them to work alongside a good lifestyle. Natural remedies can make a difference. Sadly, conventional medicine although it has its place, tends to suppress the immune system and doesn’t always treat the underlying cause.
Natural remedies continue to support the immune system, whilst treating the cause or symptoms.
I have found that essential oils, massaged into the area help very well for me.
I use basil, wintergreen, spruce and a combo oil called relieve it. They work great for me... and I get my oils from Young Living oils. They have a large selection and they get the oils out buy a cold press system instead of using a steam distillation system.
It is supposed to preserve the oils better and improve the quality. I also use heat therapy and hot baths. I'll have to try some of your suggestions. I'm sure they will work just as well. Good information. Lisa
Thanks Lisa. I am sure there will be thousands of oils available as natural remedies to help arthritis and other problems. You have mentioned two or three more here.
I am pleased that you have found the ones that work for you. Thank you for the additional information.
