This is a nice quote and very true. I was saddened to hear about Queen Elizabeth's death. I am not a royalist, but she was the only monarch the vast majority of us have ever known.
She was such an amazing role model, who put her job as the head of the royal family, above everything. As the saying goes, Charles has large boots to fill and remains to be seen if those boots are just too big.
I was too. My grandmother was a royalist, but now we have lost HM Queen Elizabeth II, it remains to be seen whether King Charles III can fill 'very large boots.'
It's difficult to know the answer to that. I'm not sure just how straight forward that will be, given everything that has happened in the Royal Family in the last few years.
