Crossed words and disagreements can lead to being hurt, but we can heal through the hurt. Having the right people around you helps, people you know you can trust, people who have your back. With time, things can always get better, even though you may feel hurt.

Give yourself as much as time as you need. You can heal through the hurt. Life teaches us many lessons, one of which is that if we hurt, it's time to find a way through, a way that allows for healing.

It's that time of year. It's time to use the end of 2022 to start a new chapter, turn over a new leaf. The word D-I-S-E-A-S-E spells dis-ease and we know dis-ease means 'ill at ease.' My website The CP Diary, is a perfect place to start your healing journey. Choose 2023 to change the way you perceive and deal with others. Use 2023 to be kind, caring, empathetic, and to be patient, because you can and because others' needs may be more than yours.

With 12 years of blogs, you can quietly sit and read, you can heal through your own hurt. We can all heal. The CP Diary is my go-to-place, will you make it yours? Give yourself time, we all need time. While you are well, time is on your side, but that can change very quickly. I have seen it happen.

All that's left for me to do is wish my readers a Happy New Year.

  1. HAPPY NEW YEAR! Healing through the hurt is definitely a foreign concept to me, but something I'm hoping to work on in the New Year.

Spending more time with my brother has helped, seeing as he can verify how truly horrible our childhood was. I'm also hoping that we can save our sister from her nightmare if that's truly possible.

It would be great to just have a great year and enjoy doing more of the things that I enjoy doing for a change. Hopefully you'll have a great year too.

    1. Happy New Year Randy. I hope that 2023 is a good year for you. Yes, we can't change our upbringing or family, we can only change our attitude to both.

I hope to do be able to do better in 2023 myself. I remember the headlines that came through one year for Her Majesty the Queen, when she announced her year, as 'Annus Horribilis.' That has literally been my year in 2022.

The worst year yet, I am hoping for better things in 2023. For you too Randy.
