Something inspirational:

"Kind thoughts are rarer than either kind words or deeds. They imply a great deal of thinking about others. This in itself is rare. But they also imply a great deal of thinking about others without the thoughts being criticisms. This is rarer still."

  1. Yes, I agree with this. People thinking of others is rare. In today's world it seems like we live in a society where 'It's all about me' is so common.

People don't think about others like they should. There are others that do think of others but this is rare. People don't think about what they do and how what they do affects others.

I for one have a daily prayer life and I pray for everyone I can think of and do think of others during my day especially if someone is having problems. I know some people that think of only themselves and when you talk to them it's all about them.

It gets sort of old after a while but I am a tolerating person.

    1. Thanks Lisa. I agree. This quote is so true.

Generally when we're under pressure we will forget to be kind or thoughtful, but it seems we're always quick to criticise if we're feeling that way inclined. Being kind has to come from the heart.

When the chips are down we genuinely get to know who are friends are.

  2. It isn't something I have a lot of experience with, but I do try to think kind thoughts of most people when I can.

It's very hard considering that I didn't grow up in a world where we were supposed to really think of other people's feelings!

I'm working very hard on trying to change this in my life.

    1. Thanks Randy. I know how much better you will feel when you turn your thoughts around.

Unfortunately when we don't manage to think kind thoughts it takes us longer to work through the feelings we have. I very much hope you succeed.
