Something inspirational:
“How would your life be different if…You stopped making negative judgmental assumptions about people you encounter? Let today be the day…You look for the good in everyone you meet and respect their journey.”
STEVE MARABOLI, Life, the Truth, and Being Free
Of course, when we make assumptions about people, we're essentially putting a label on them without knowing the full story. This can lead to misconceptions, misunderstandings, and even hurtful behaviour. Negative judgments can create a sense of separation and division, making it difficult to build meaningful connections with others. By assuming the worst in others, by labelling them for whatever reasons we are labelling them, without hearing their story, or understanding their story from their point of view, we're essentially rejecting them as individuals.
Instead, when choose to look for the good, we're actively seeking to understand and appreciate others' unique qualities, strengths and experiences. This shift in perspective can have a profound impact on our relationships and our own well-being.
