I started using quotes on the site at the same time I started the website thirteen years ago. What I like about quotes is they comprise of 'real-life' stories, real-life events that we may all deal with.
They tell a story, outline an experience, they give us something to think about, something to aspire to and they encourage us to change.
I enjoy reading the quotes you put out on the site. They do inspire and they usually make me stop and have a second thought about things and we all need to do that everyone once in a while.
I'm glad you like the quotes. Yes, I hope more people will contribute and read what I put out on my site. I agree with you, quotes do allow for us to take a seconds thought.
Since the pandemic and lockdown began, people's mentality has changed. We're now stuck in a spiral of having to 'do things' more than having time out to just let things be.
But without that seconds thought, without thinking about and honing in on things, without honing in on mental health, or our health, (how many really do?) there is no health.
