“Writing is a way to engage with the world on your own terms and to escape, however temporarily, the world’s noise. Article continues after advertisement. The imagination remains a private place where you can make something from nothing”. - Scott Adlerberg

Although writing my book in Covid-19 has been difficult, learning about my disability and for the first time, has been a cathartic experience, a journey I never thought I would take.

Covid-19 helps me add content to my blog. My writing helps me let go of the negative, turning those into positive. They challenge me and help me to continue to get my thoughts out there.

Through my intuition, my words and my writing helps me understand my life. I am able to bring understanding, where I had none. My writing helps me heal.

My book Cerebral Palsy: ‘A Story’ is unique and a perfect read for these times. Based on my story, it is centred around spiritual values that can heal.

Writing makes me less fractious, less fearful and more certain of myself. Through my words, I create a safe space that helps us to act on self-care.
