Intuition is something we all have, but something we’re not always aware of. It can be used to help us successfully navigate our lives.

Have you ever had that feeling when you know that something is right for you, even though you’re not sure why, or you instinctively get the feeling you must go down a certain path? It is our intuition that lets us know this. It allows us to make changes, even though we may be hesitant and want to resist change at first.

Intuition is defined as ‘a thing that one knows or considers likely from instinctive feeling rather than conscious reasoning.’ It steers us on the path we are meant to take without us questioning why. Intuition isn’t something we need to use every day or tap into continually, but we must want to listen to it, learn and be open to it.

When we ignore its presence, it usually means we’re not in tune or prepared to listen. It could be because we are constantly resistant to change and instead, we repeat old habits and ignore instinctive feelings.

Instinctive feelings can bring about new events that we didn’t see, together with new opportunities. To let light and peace in, we must learn to follow our instinctive feelings.

For those who meditate, or who practise by listening, their intuition should grow stronger. Life is more rewarding when we listen to our intuition.

Intuition paves the way for us to have an easier life; it allows for spiritual growth and the more we use our intuition, the more peace we will have.
