I am excited to welcome you to my new website, which went 'live' yesterday. Hope you enjoy the new look and functionality.

You will see all the blogs are now set out in categories which makes the site super easy to navigate, including previously archived blogs. Simply browse through whichever categories interests you the most and all blogs are there in one place, in chronological order. The site also still includes a reply form, so that you can continue to contribute to the conversation.

Many thanks to Adam of Fallen Leaf Design Ltd for creating the new website for me and for walking me through the experience.

Living with Difference

Seen, Misjudged, Rarely Understood For most of my life, I lived in the dark. Not because I didn't know I was different, but because I didn't yet have the understanding to explain why life always felt harder than it seemed to be ...

  1. CONGRATULATIONS! Yes, it has been far too long and I do sincerely apologize! You have been a tremendous power of example with how much you have accomplished.

I have been trying to get back into having a life, working so I have been rather tired! No excuse but definitely need to remember to keep in touch with the people who have helped me to get so far in my life.

Thanks so much for all that you have done to help me out and keep up the great work!

    1. Congrats Randy. Thanks, yes it does seem a long while ago. I am so pleased to hear you've got back into your life and you are working. It's wonderful news, I am so pleased for you.

Thank you for letting us know. We look forward to seeing more of you.

  2. I love your new website design, Ilana! It's so soft on the eyes and easy to navigate.

This is another example of you mastering your craft and achieving your goals.

    Beautiful site, congratulations!

    1. Thanks Tim. I can't take all the credit of course. It has very much been a team effort, but loving that you love the site and that you find it easy to navigate.

These are difficult times, but I hope the young, modern and fresh feel of the website, will want to attract more people, and for them to get involved in their mental health.

Mental health isn't an easy topic, less so in these times, but without dealing with mental health, you will have poor health. It is in effect the backbone to everything.

I wish more would deal with their mental health and perhaps not see it as something someone else deals with, because it is something we will all get to deal with.

My website is giving people that opportunity.

  3. I've spent a few days now dipping in and out of your new website and I'm blown away by the work you have put into it. I just love it!

    1. Glad you're blown away, but I cannot take all the credit. I'm still getting used to running WordPress, which is slightly different to what I've known.

This new website has a modern, fresh, vibrant new feel to it and I love it too. Thank you...
