Something inspirational:

Pain (any pain--emotional, physical, mental) has a message. The information it has about our life can be remarkably specific, but it usually falls into one of two categories: "We would be more alive if we did more of this," and, "Life would be more lovely if we did less of that." Once we get the pain's message, and follow its advice, the pain goes away.

  1. I think there is one other meaning of pain (physical) that something is wrong within our body.

I have pain a lot sometimes and then not much other times and it's from my fibromyalgia. It's not due to anything in particular I just hurt.

    1. The human body is so complex. You're right Lisa, physical pain comes from something being wrong with the body, but physical pain stems initially from the mind. When the mind is uneasy

When the mind is uneasy because we deal with stress, conflict and other emotional issues, we invite physical problems and pain and that's when we become ill with various conditions and dis-ease.

  2. I've been experiencing a lot of emotional pain lately, which is always a sign that something is happening to me, but I don't always know what it means right away.

I've dealt with a lot of pain in my life, physically, emotionally and spiritually, so it has been very strange to be without so much of it in recent years.

I'm just very tired at this point and praying that these current feelings will go away eventually. It's the kind of pain that would drag down the best of men and only those who have experienced it would know what I mean.

It has been a very long journey, but I know I will get beyond it, eventually!
