"Ilana Estelle was forty-six when she was diagnosed with cerebral palsy and then ten years later, she was diagnosed with autism. The journey from angry, confused child to the ‘real’ her took enormous inner strength and courage. Then the global pandemic struck.
In Survival: The Covid Years Ilana shares her overwhelming physical and mental struggles within the chaos of the pandemic. She explains how navigating the daily turbulence and ever-changing rules and restrictions impacted her physical, mental, and emotional needs, leaving her feeling out of control and panicked.
Locked down and fearing for her health, and her life, Ilana turned once again to writing, a process that has helped her cope and reach out beyond life within four walls. Her revealing memoir shows how she learned to cope with stress, anxiety, and on-going self-isolation through Covid, through the healing power of words and with a steely determination to reconnect to the outside.
Ilana Estelle’s book Survival: ‘The Covid Years, not only sheds lights on her own personal challenges through the pandemic, but through her words, she brings explanations to her experiences, helping the reader to also unlock their own thoughts and feelings on their pandemic journey. By Ilana Estelle bringing an understanding, she also unlocks future potential for others, enabling them to move on from an enormously difficult time for everyone.
It’s a must-read for anyone wanting to shed light on their own personal journey through the Covid-19 pandemic."

I am really looking forward to ordering an advance copy of your book. To be able to bring acceptance, it is important to understand.
Having read the back cover it sounds like a fabulous read, one that I am sure can help many people find their own acceptance and understanding on what have been a difficult few years.
I have no doubt it will be a 'must-read' in the same vein as your other books. The cover looks fabulous too.
Thanks and I can't stress enough how important this book is. I know that throughout the pandemic, where I have felt disheartened, and where I have lost confidence and hope, I am now more accepting.
While people have got back into their lives, this book will bring understanding and an acceptance that will help them move forward, without the shackles of their experiences.
