"The world is filled with shadows: unkindness, hate, trauma and abuse. Yet, among the darkness, there exists a kinder side, one where individuals are striving to make a difference to the wider population. People who dedicate their lives to helping others, who address the pressing challenges of what's happening in the wider world.
I write to inspire confidence and to remind others that kindness still exists and show compassion. In a world filled with challenges, I believe even the smallest actions, a thoughtful word, can create change.
I created The CP Diary as a place to help me to find understanding on a life of trauma, to reflect and to grow. It’s not about self-promotion, but about starting a dialogue – one that uplifts, empowers, and reminds us that we are not alone in our struggles.
I believe it’s kindness that makes the biggest difference. Through The CP Diary, I hope to continue to amplify empathy, compassion and understanding also – values that remind each of us that even in a fractured world, there is still kindness to be found, and hope to draw inspiration from. It’s through these efforts that the best of humanity can shine, proving that no matter how dark things seem, the dawn will always come, but we must all be responsible for dealing with our trauma first. Shadows and darkness are the result of trauma."
