The universe is different to religion or science, neither of which have the answers about the way the universe works. For us to function successfully and revolve around the planet harmoniously and with each other, we must abide by the universal laws and work together.

The universe works on metaphysical laws below:

The Law of Divine Oneness

The first law is the law that explains how each of us are part of one universal energy. This is why hating someone or wishing them harm is dangerous. When we do this, we are in effect hating or wishing harm on ourselves.

The Law of Vibration

All things are made of energy and the law of vibration states that we should align our energy with what we want to attract. We should express our emotions in healthy ways and focus on emotions such as love and gratitude, as much as we can. This helps us to attract higher things back into our lives.

The Law of Action

We are divine, but we are also human. We need to embrace our experience here on earth so that we can grow and learn the lessons of our current journey. This doesn’t have to mean pain, hard work and struggle. Challenges help us to learn and grow. However, if we find ourselves constantly struggling, we should reconnect with our higher selves.

The Law of Correspondence

This universal law states that like a mirror, your outer world reflects your inner world. What we choose to focus on will become our reality, whether it is good or bad.

The Law of Cause and Effect

This law states that what you reap, you will sow. Many spiritual traditions have taught this universal wisdom for thousands of years. The most well-known of which is the law of Karma.

If we harm others, we are ultimately harming ourselves, however if we work for the highest good of ourselves and others and form motives of love and compassion, we should find this reflected in the people and events that occur in our lives.

The Law of Compensation

Instead of wishing things were different, we have to be different. Whatever we feel is lacking in our lives is probably something that we aren't giving. Whatever you feel you are lacking, whether it is time, recognition or love, practice giving it to yourself first and others. This changes your energy and your world.

The Law of Perpetual Transmutation of Energy

This last spiritual law is about how we react to the world around us. We sometimes think that the only way to change our world is to try harder, or struggle. We worry about what might happen to us and we try to control things so that we feel better. When we do this, we restrict energy flow.

If we let go of control and learn to go with the flow a little more, our energy starts to move again. We need to have faith in the universal laws, the universe and ourselves. Whatever happens to us, we should understand that we have the inner resources to deal with it.

It is important to work with the universal laws. For the universe to work with us, we should operate on at least these four laws: action, consequence, positive energy and the power of choice. Once we do that, we should find overtime that the universe starts responding and working with us to make our lives better.

Whilst we continue to work against the universe and what we want for ourselves, the universe will stop responding and working with us. That will have a knock-on effect on our lives, our children's lives, in society and communities as a whole and lives can never work out. (Source: learningmind.com)

  1. What we think, say, do and believe all have a corresponding effect on others and the universe around us, so it makes sense to me to live our lives in an honest, caring and respectful way.

    1. You're absolutely right, as far as the universe is concerned, we are held to account for our deeds.

Therefore it is important we live an 'honest, caring and respectful' way. I cannot stress enough the importance of that.

Not to means we're putting ourselves and each other at risk. We must work together and be there for each other, taking out things like opinions and judgments.

When we become resistant, we skip our lessons, be manipulative and continue to be those things, this is when the Universe will provide us with experiences we would rather not have.

Some of us may perceive these experiences as hardships, others may ignore them altogether, yet the gifts of these lessons are there to teach us all a different way to be. It is important we take note.
