I've been writing for 15 years. Given what we've all been through around Covid, it's not surprising I still continue to think how much healing really matters. We're not healed, we've simply put a band aid on. But healing isn't just for ourselves, but for the generations that will follow us. When wounds go unattended, they ripple forward – showing up as hurt, bitterness, anger, violence, disconnection, or indifference.
Therapy and non-fiction books, are such a gift for anyone who craves emotional, mental, and spiritual freedom. It opens doors we don’t always realise, or understand are closed.
And maybe just as important – we need to remind each other to pause. To breathe. To think. So much harm comes from rushing into impulses, instead of giving ourselves space to reflect.
Reflection isn’t just stillness – it’s the beginning of personal transformation. The more we think, the more we notice. The more we notice, the more we understand, the more we change.
And somewhere in that process, we can start meeting ourselves. Getting to know 'us' – to truly knowing who we are, the soul version of us. That is one of the most powerful, life-shifting journeys you could ever take.
