At the start of the pandemic in 2019, the world was thrown into confusion with society focusing on the immediate impacts of the pandemic rather than on mental health. As a result, books which consider the importance of mental health became no longer the focus, as attentions were turned to survival mode.
Despite the challenges, I remain committed to raising awareness about mental health. I want to remind people that it's okay to not be okay, and that seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness. My writing, I hope can help break the stigma surrounding mental health, so that society can continue to encourage open and honest dialogue on the importance of mental health.
Navigating the challenges of 'mental health'
By sharing our experiences, we can create a supportive and understanding community that helps to navigate the challenges of mental health. I am dedicated to using my platform, to advocate for mental health, to provide resources and support for those who may be struggling.
It's more important than ever to prioritise mental health
In these uncertain times, it's more important than ever to prioritise mental health and wellbeing. I will continue to advocate for mental health awareness. I hope that as a society, we can come together to prioritise wellbeing. Together, we can help create a more compassionate and supportive society; where mental health is valued.
By continuing to write and share my experiences on mental health, I hope to contribute the ongoing conversation about mental health, to inspire others to do the same. Together, we can create understanding and a more compassionate world where mental health is something of value and support.
