Do you sometimes wake up with an uneasy feeling in the pit of your stomach when you’re dealing with uncertainties? The uncertainties I deal with are making me feel uneasy.

Those uneasy feelings are bringing about other feelings, which I am now having to deal with. I still have to fight my corner so that I can live my life. Some days are a constant battle.

I am still expected to adapt, to conform, and to be a certain way. We need to get on with our lives, and live the life we want to live, independently of one another. That's the way it should be.

We should strive to have calm and peace in our lives. Although it’s something I work on daily, I hope the same is afforded back to me. It is often difficult to find that balance with family.

I want to wake up and feel calm, without having that feeling of dread and unease at what I continually get to deal with.

  1. I think the only way to wake settled is to go to sleep settled.

Perhaps you could try some relaxation techniques on an evening. Families like yours aren't worth worrying about.

    1. I agree with you that being settled before sleep does help with sleeping more soundly. I go to bed settled, then thoughts come back into my mind.

Some of my uncertainties still need to be resolved and can't be just yet. I have to bide my time. Everything else that can be dealt with is dealt with and resolved.

You're right on my family, they're not worth the worry.

  2. I've just quit worrying about stuff especially at night and I sleep better. Not one hundred percent better, but better.

I feel fairly good when I get up in the morning. It just takes time for things to settle.

    1. Lisa I'm pleased that you've quit worrying so you now feel better in the morning and sleep better at night.

I think for me once the bigger issues have been sorted out, I know I will sleep a lot better without those uneasy feelings coming back into my mind.

I'm not great with meditation but I know that will help, if I could only do it! I agree with you that it takes time for things to settle.
