If we change or don't, either outcome was always our destiny anyway... but I certainly believe in not trying to 'fix' anyone. I would hope instead, they are able and choose to fix themselves.
Without me having gone through the healing process, my destiny wouldn't have been The CP Diary or writing three beautiful books that deal with mental health.
But I do think we are each responsible for ourselves. Often our destiny changes because we fail to want to deal with, or grasp what we need to do to keep ourselves healthy.
From an early age we are conditioned to behave a certain way and follow what we know instead of coming out of our comfort zone. I chose to come out of my comfort zone and haven't looked back.
We all need to remember that without good emotional or mental health, it will be hard to keep ourselves physically well. Sadly, I have seen it happen.
It's why through my writing, I continue to champion and advocate mental health.
