  1. You cannot manufacture peace, if you do the newness will wear away very quickly. It has to come from your heart, unless you suffer from demons and I mean that seriously.

    1. Thanks Tim. Yes, peace comes from within, it's not something that can be manufactured, you're right. Unfortunately, I am not sure how many of us aware of that. We all want peace, but we're not sure how peace works, or how to go about achieving it.

Initially peace comes from the soul (which is an imprint of all our experiences past and present, good and bad). Once our issues are dealt with and the soul is healed; as you say Tim, the heart will heal and we will then have peace.

    1. Unfortunately, there are so many things people look for first before they look for peace. The day we brought materialism into our lives is the day we turned out backs on peace.

We do want happiness and people strive to have that on but have little idea on how to achieve it. I believe that when we bring simplicity into our lives, we will have the opportunity to work on achieving both.

  2. One recurring theme in the world is how much time people spend focusing on our differences, rather than how much we're alike.

We're all human, but there are those who think that they're better than everyone else because of their beliefs. A prime example is the Untouchables, as they call them in India, which I find to be quite twisted, seeing as they believe it themselves.

What right does any one person have, to say who's better or worse than them ,just because they say so? I always feel that people look down on me because of my family history and mental health issues, but I think 90% of it; is in my head.

I don't know much about peace, at least in my own mind, but it's pretty obvious why there isn't much of it in the world. People don't want to take the time to work on peace, since war is so much more profitable!

    1. Thanks Randy. Unfortunately, people's focus tends to be centred around religion.

A lot of what we believe is put out there on social media too and is the reason why countries and society are struggling. When our attention isn't centred around religion; we're often too self-absorbed to think about anyone else.

I think your first paragraph sums up your response beautifully Randy. It seems we unconsciously choose to focus on our differences, particularly when it comes to our beliefs.

But I do believe we can have peace. I believe we all can, but we must work on ourselves first and continue to work on ourselves.
