Yesterday was an odd kind of day. A lot has changed recently, far too quickly than I would have liked. I was very tired with no particular thoughts in mind. Come to think of it, since Daniel made a decision to move to London, the last three weeks has been a bit like that. Now with the move behind me, it’s the reason I was so emotionally tired yesterday. However and with the benefit of a good night’s sleep last night, today I’m feeling stronger.

  1. I hope Daniel does really well. I felt lost for a while when my kids moved away. Then we adopted Brandon and because most all of my attention is on him, I didn't have time to miss the girls much; but I miss them dearly. I don't think we ever stop missing our children once they "leave the nest."

Glad you're doing better and I hope the rest of the week goes well for you.

    1. It's the way things are meant to be of course, but I can understand when you say you felt lost when your kids moved away. It's only natural.

I'm happy Daniel's getting to live his life in a city he wants to live in. Not having had those opportunities myself I see this has to happen. Of course any move brings with it an element of emotional stress for everyone. I'm okay. Thanks Lisa.

  2. Such a significant change such as a child moving away for good is bound to have a huge emotional impact. When things become more settled, we're usually a little more settled in ourselves and a little more at ease.
