Have you ever questioned your next move, whether you should go down ‘path A’ or ‘path B?' Do you feel disconnected from yourself, or get the feeling there’s something bigger on the horizon? That's your soul talking to you.

My journey

Since I was a little girl, I spent a large chunk of my life trying to understand myself around a disability I didn’t know I had. My twin's soul journey was different to mine. Her soul journey ended in December 2022, and is now continuing in the spirit realm. I miss her.

My blog The CP Diary, is my soul journey. It's a journey I started to get to know about 'me.' It's a blog I have opened up for others, so they too can understand how to start their soul journey and what that means, if they're not already on it.

The soul is a process of self-discovery

The soul is a process of self-discovery, growth and evolution. It’s learning to love and accept yourself, it's about finding your own unique path. It’s living authentically, with purpose and intention.

The soul journey is a deeply personal experience that requires us to connect with ourselves on a deeper level, to trust our intuition and have faith in the universe; but we must be open to its teachings.

It’s a journey of self-discovery and growth. Trust your gut, trust your soul, and trust your journey. Your soul journey starts with your inner voice. When you become aware of your inner voice, you allow your soul to be guided.

Alison Muir, life coach:

“Yes, often when faced with a difficult decision we will search deep within us for an answer that feels ‘right’ – which aligns with our sense of who we are, our morals, ethics, beliefs, and values. But what if those aren’t clear for you? What if you’ve lost your sense of self, purpose, or meaning? That’s what ‘soul-searching’ means to me.” (Source: happifulcom)

Your soul's journey is about you being mindful and present in the moment, allowing yourself to listen to your intuition, to feel your emotions. It’s about acknowledging the universe has a plan for you and you need to trust in that plan. But you have to pay attention, or you'll miss it. You have to be instrumental.

We may become disconnected

Our busy lives and the constant noise around us can cause us to ignore, or dismiss our gut instincts. A soul journey is where you innately become ‘all knowing.' That doesn't mean you're a know it all, it just means the soul connects with you, so you go further to explore the depths of what makes you, you. It’s an inner journey that continues to give you answers that only you need to sign off on.

The gut is the doorway to your soul's journey

The gut is the voice that guides you on your path. To listen to your gut is to trust in yourself and the universe. It’s a journey that we need to understand... the growth that comes from it is invaluable. Our soul-journey will always align with who we are.

But it’s not just your soul journey, it’s also about synchronicity, timing and that happens when your emotional and your mental health is aligned with your soul.
