A passing thought:

It’s hard being focused on what we want to do in our lives or our career, when there are so many options to choose from.

Unless we have always known what we want to do, it can be very confusing. Instead of focusing on what we can do, why not focus on what we know we don’t want to do. Being happy and more focused, means that we'll have less mental blocks on what we don't want to do and more of a focus on what we may want to do.

6 comments on “Making choices”

  1. I wanted to be a nurse since I was 8 years old and I became one. Now that I've been one for 25 years I'm ready for a change now.

I want to go into natural health and open a natural health store and offer consultations for nutrition. I just have to get through school.

Hopefully it won't be long before I can start back and finish and then get my store started. I don't know what I don't want to do. I guess it'd be not doing anything with the rest of my life.

    1. It' s not always easy to know what we want to do. You seem lucky that at 8 years old you knew what you wanted.

Hope your next challenge becomes a reality for you.

  2. My choices were made primarily because of my CP.

If i had to do it all again, I would work with people with disabilities to improve their lives. I had a job like that for a short time and loved it.

It gave me a great sense of purpose.

    1. You know now Randy and that's good. It doesn't matter how long it takes to get to where we want to be, just so long as we do.
