  1. True. We shouldn't want to change others. They have to want to change themselves.

    I think most people that want to change others, are doing it to benefit themselves not the person that they want to change. People want others to be what they want them to be.

    Then there are some that want to change others for their own good. That's okay but you can't change someone for your good, if they don't want to change themselves.

    1. Thanks Lisa. You're right we cannot change others, others have to want to change themselves.

      Wanting others to change in itself can bring about stress. I believe though that when we come to accept others as they are, we are more likely to have peace of mind. This quote is so true.

  2. I agree not wanting to change others can contribute to achieving peace. If there is any need for change, then that should come from ourselves.

    1. You're right, any change must come from ourselves, but I'm not sure how many people will see the need for themselves to change.

      Other people will see it, but we don't and if we do see it, we won't always agree we need to change. It's normally someone else at fault.
