  1. Bad character seems to be an irresistible characteristic these days, like people everywhere are drinking the wrong water; probably too absorbed to see it in themselves.

So I openly express my appreciation for people with good character; everyone else has to be my friend in another life.

    1. Thanks Tim. I think you've hit the nail on the head certainly. I believe we're often too absorbed in ourselves to notice.

Respect is something that we all know about, but not something we will all have, but either way it's through our characters that we show respect. I agree with this quote. So true.

  2. Obtaining knowledge in itself has little purpose, unless it's used appropriately and with that comes responsibility.

To me, respect brings character not the other way around. I have met many characters in my life who don't deserve my respect.

    1. Thank you. Yes, your response is spot on. Unfortunately society and cultures expect us to be respectful regardless of what other people hand out.

I personally believe you have to earn respect. I have like many other people lived amongst other people who expected to have respect. Respect begets respect. It must be earned.
