You bring truth to your words through your blog. When I think of truth, 'you can't handle the truth' is usually the expression that comes to mind when someone mentions truth.
The truth was something that was pretty much ignored in the world I grew up in. Growing up, my siblings and I suffered in ways that most people may not be able to imagine, which is why I'm sure I relate so much to your story.
The truth for me is that I don't want to feel ashamed of my life anymore.
Thanks Randy! You relate and that helps us understand each other. Truth is something we all have, but it's not something we all use and that's when it becomes an issue.
The world can't function on non-truths, particularly when non-truths begin to outweigh truths. It's what you're seeing right now. When it comes to our personal lives the same principles apply.
All you can do is live your truth and map out the life you want to live. While the life is perhaps not the life you would have chosen for yourself, what happened to you happened.
All you can do is move on from it and carve out a more positive life. It's not you who should feel ashamed. Being on the receiving end of someone else's behaviour, should make them feel ashamed for causing you the pain.

Life's greatest rewards, come form the biggest challenges and there can be no greater challenge than living the truth.
'There can be no greater challenge than living the truth.' Without truth we will still have a life, but it will be a life of strife and struggle.
Truth paves the way for growth and self-development. Lies or being conservative with the truth will continue to trip us up.
It can also lead to illness in some circumstances.
