I work with emotional truth. I bring truth into my writing. Through my writing, I am paying it forward for others to have their voices heard.

Truth

Emotional truth is the truth of our experiences. It is what the universe holds us accountable for and accountability escapes no-one. The success we have through emotional truth, comes with responsibility.

Emotional truth is not only what we feel about a situation, but it is the truthful facts behind our experiences. I say ‘our’ because it’s something we all know to do, something we should all do.

Family

When it comes to family, although we're brought up in the same household as our siblings with similar upbringings, how they view their experiences will differ. That may have a lot to do with how they want to perceive their upbringing.

When it comes to truth, we’re not always open to receive what is our truth. Writing truth is very much to do with expressing the voice of our heart, as opposed to the voice in our head. In my case, I do both.

My Inner voice

My inner voice encourages me to speak from the heart, bringing truth to my writing. Every word of what I write is true. I write and share what I know from the 'universe.' My blogs are based on my experiences, they are my truth. They bring explanations to a difficult life.

Bringing emotional truth has always been important to me. It is who I am. 'My story’ remains true to me and how I continue to live my life. If the shoe were on the other foot, I doubt others would have done things differently.

Growing up, we all have a right to understand our struggles, know what we deal with and to have that support. It's a basic human right.

  1. What I love about your writing is that every word you write, is full of soul and truth. Emotional truth is important if we are to pave the way for us to have a meaningful life.

In Covid-19 and I go back to what the world is dealing with, it has become even more important that we are true with ourselves.

There also needs to be support mechanisms in place so that if there is an element of struggle, we have that support. Your books and your blog is a good place to help us understand how to get back our 'emotional truth.'

    1. Thanks. Yes, I couldn't agree more. If Covid-19 is teaching us one thing, it's that we should work with our truth.

It's something I continue to do. It's not something we should shy away from. Just imagine how different the world would feel and be, if we all chose to work on our emotions and 'emotional truth.'
