Something inspirational:

“Love isn't a state of perfect caring. It is an active noun like struggle. To love someone is to strive to accept that person exactly the way he or she is, right here and now.”

  1. So very much agree and such an inspirational quote from a very wise man!

I wish more people accepted others for who they are, instead of only looking for a pretty face. Loving someone so much comes with loving their imperfections etc.

  2. This quote reminds me of a homeless couple I saw one day, looking unconditionally in love. They seemed more alive than I was.

    1. Thanks Tim. Yes, I believe we can all have what the homeless couple clearly had, but most of us will only scratch the surface on our relationships. The couple you saw sound old school, or it could be they 'just get relationships.' The old fashioned values keep relationships alive for longer, much longer than standard relationships of today.

Marriage vows in today's society tend to incorporate a get out clause that there is always divorce at the end of the road and although that is not consciously intentioned in the beginning, it seems to be at the back of people's minds that it's always an option.
