Food for thought: "I never write to disappear and escape. The truth is exactly the opposite. Most people strike me as escaping and disappearing in one way or another - into their jobs, their daily routines, their delusions about ...
Something inspirational: “Anyone can learn to fight. Hardly anyone learns to think.” TAMSYN MUIR, Gideon the Ninth Muir's quote reminds us that fighting is not just about physical strength; it can mean arguing, resisting ...

I'm sure we've all taken action, or indeed not taken action, in order to avoid some particular circumstances we'd rather not have got into.
This quote simply reminds us that these things have a habit of being unavoidable and coming back to find us eventually. The universe will see to that for us.
Boy is this the truth? I think it's human nature to avoid difficult situations. But sometimes we're so overcome with fear of the unknown that we avoid things at all costs.
It's important I think that we break down those walls of avoidance, in order to get stronger and learn a lesson.
I have taken a lot of different roads to avoid the fate I thought I was going to get! I'm still not quite sure of what my fate is supposed to be, so I guess I just have to try to make the best of it.
I don't ever really expect to be happy, but I would settle for being comfortable in my own skin during the time I have left!
Thanks Randy. Yes fate isn't something we can best avoid. It eventually catches up with us. I would say we have certain control over our fate, but I don't believe fate is fully predetermined. We are in control of some of it.
I also don't believe we can be happy all the time. It's something we constantly have to work on, but do believe we owe it to ourselves to try to do our best.
We get one crack at life, we should really want to make sure we do and give of our best.
This is probably why so many people are attempting to erase or sanitize their past. Racing to come up with a logical explanation as to why they left people orphaned by indifference and hate before fate finally calls.
I'd be a bit perturbed if there is a road where someone could avoid accountability.
Thanks Tim. Yes, unfortunately, and it's become human nature for people to run and ignore accountability. I was always taught and still choose to be accountable. We run away because we have something we run away from.
If we followed the rules of the road akin to what the universe expects from us and conformed, there would be no need to run.

Yes it is. I feel we would all be better off... if we understand that. We cannot run away from what I call 'life.'

Your response is absolutely spot on. I agree. Thanks Bonnie.
