  1. This is so true. As I have got older I have learned that the key is to stop letting others write your book and to start to write your own.

    1. Yes, it's never too late to write your own book. Our life is for us, it's important we get to live our lives the way we want to live, with the ending we want.

Too many people end up having others write their story for them, without a rewrite. It's up to us to work through the middle and the end, even if our lives don't start out that way.

  2. When we come into this world we must be equipped to live in it.

I suspect this quote is suggesting that we bathe our brains in information, information that's already there.

    1. We all come into this life equipped, but some of us will be more equipped than others. That's not to say those who aren't as equipped can't learn. I believe we can learn, be in control and write our own books.

Although I never started out on that path, I was equipped enough to understand other people's part in my life and wise enough to know that I needed to change and turn things around for myself. That's the key.

I also believe you're right. The brain is more aware than we give it credit. It's up to us to soak up the knowledge we accrue over time and through our experiences and find ways to change our circumstances, so that we get to at least write one book for ourselves.

We're not always consciously aware that we have the knowledge, but through learning and through our experiences, we become more aware of how to change our circumstances and our lives.
