Our intentions and actions are very much part of karma, by putting ourselves at risk, we can be responsible for thousands of people's suffering, when they get caught up in the cross-fire.
Change needs to happen. Will it happen? Sadly, when you're also dealing with the ego, not usually. It is exactly what you're seeing with Covid and Brexit, which is why we must all rethink our actions.
Having humility and knowing that every single action you take has consequences, will keep you from becoming a danger to yourself and others.
Unfortunately, some people spend their entire lives not understanding, that as karma is inconceivable to them. That makes you wonder what their next action is going be.

Having humility makes us more enlightened, more spiritual. Whilst I do think karma can be difficult to understand, I am not sure how many people genuinely don't understand versus how many people understand but choose to turn a blind eye to what karma means or what it does.
However we choose to live our lives, karma will never turn a blind eye, or ignore our actions. Karma will always deal its hand, not always in the way we expect or anticipate.
We must all work together for the greater good of mankind.
