Something inspirational:

“Transformation is my favorite game and in my experience, anger and frustration are the result of you not being authentic somewhere in your life or with someone in your life. Being fake about anything creates a block inside of you. Life can’t work for you if you don’t show up as you.”

  1. Yes, this would explain so much in my life, seeing as I haven't developed a sense of self knowing who I really am.

I have wasted most of my life being more worried about what people would think of me, rather than doing what it was that I wanted to do and have suffered as a result.

I have blamed others for my decisions too, when it was my own doubts, fears and insecurities that drove me into thinking that I wasn't worthy of working towards the goals I had in mind.

In reality, the only one who has kept me from an authentic life as myself, has been myself and I have to break that cycle before it's too late.

    1. Thanks Randy. Yes, looking at my younger self I can resonate with you, but as the adult now I have worked hard to change my sense of self, to someone who has confidence and knows how she wants things to be.

There comes a time and as you have said yourself, when it's time to break the cycle. Where our parents have controlled our lives, there comes a time where we must take control back.

Years from now you will want to say you broke the cycle. I am already beginning to see a change in you.

  2. I really can't add anything to this quote, it says it all. In all relationships we must simply be true to ourselves.

    1. Thanks, yes we must be true to ourselves first by bringing understanding to our experiences and our issues and letting go those.

When we hold on to anything that has the potential to come between us and those we're in a relationship with, we can never be true to ourselves.

We must also be open, honest and transparent. Communication is a big part of our ability to be open and transparent.
