I find it amazing what people choose to believe these days, absent critical thinking at the core. That makes liberation very dangerous and counterproductive; I've seen this with my own eyes.
That's why I believe the real crisis in our society are the lies that we hold dearly as truth.
Thanks Tim. 'That's why I believe the real crisis in our society are the lies that we hold dearly as truth.' I agree. This is at the heart of the issue. I personally don't buy into it. I speak the universal truth and always have.
But as you say, you only have to look at what's going on in society, the world and also certain governments to understand how that works.
Indeed, and both are equally as pointless, short-lived and benefits no one. The truth should underpin all of our deeds and words.
Thanks. Yes, it is what the universe expects of us. My blog is based on not only my truths but the universal truths.
But that sadly isn't what we have. It's not universal. But as you say 'the truth should underpin all of our deeds and words.'
We just need to look around us and out into the world to see that isn't happening.

Creating damage as a consequence of lies hurts everyone. It has been going on for ages and it still seems to be happening.
There are always two sides to every story, sometimes what people believe is not necessarily the truth.
Perfect response Maria. Yes, you're right. It's a human failing (it doesn't have to be). We're seeing more and more of it in society and in politics.
We believe what we want to believe rather than look at the other side of the story, or the bigger picture.
We won't be outdone and won't back down, and still continue to live what is a lie, but what we see as the truth.
