This is a difficult subject for me, since I feel like I have been giving everything in my life and not getting much from the universe.
I'm sure it has a lot to do with being raised by a mother who wasn't ever really satisfied with how much the universe gave her. She was always such a giving person, but usually to people that she shouldn't have been so giving to. It wasn't any wonder that she was always being taken advantage of.
I have definitely followed in her footsteps, so I shouldn't be that surprised either that I have had the same thing happen to me. I am trying to make sure that I only give to the people who are really worthy now.

I think you're right to give to those who deserve your time and are worthy of what you have to give them. I want to imagine a world where we all work to the tune of the universe, instead of the tune to themselves.
