Something inspirational:

“I think we underestimate how many people are hanging on by a single, fraying thread, and how, some days, the only thing saving them/us from the abyss is the small comforts of a TV-show, that feels like home, a book that tells you, you’re not alone, or a pet that needs you.”

MARIA HASKINS

There are people in society, in your communities where this is ABSOLUTELY true.

People in care homes; in hospital; people with a mental illness; for people who live with a physical disability, whose lives have been ruined by the pandemic.

For people who lost a loved one in the early days of the pandemic and are struggling to come to terms with their loss, to be able to move forward in the pandemic.

Whatever your back story in the pandemic is, these are not easy times.

Maria Haskins speaks for me.

For those people who are able to live 'normal' lives, please think about those who can't. By introducing precautionary measures you're helping protect yourself and helping those less fortunate than you, who continue to struggle to live their lives, to function.

The pandemic isn't over, neither are the world's struggles.
