Something inspirational:

“Self discovery is the most empowering time of your life, you remember who you are and you become the best version of yourself but what they forget to tell you is, to get to a point of pleasure you must face the pain.”

  1. Yes, that's pretty much it, where you have to go through hell to get to Heaven.

I feel like I have been in hell for most of my life. I am definitely ready to enjoy some time in heaven. I have endured a lot more pain than most people have in their lives, so I think I can make it through the painful process of finding myself.

I never really had the chance to know what it's like to have freedom and be able to enjoy it, so this is all new territory for me.

It has been a very difficult transition, coming from a place where I was pretty much a hostage, and now being in an environment where I'm free to go where I please.

I'm thinking that eventually I will get used to it.

    1. Thanks Randy. I'm pleased you have it now. You will get used to it and you'll love it. Being able to make your own choices means you'll feel empowered and want more of it. I think you've come a long way

It's something you deserved to have even as a child. It doesn't make what happened right, it's just what it is. To come through any trauma you have to go through the motions.

Speaking from my own experiences, and having come through the other end, it's worth it and as cliched as it sounds, you are worth it.
